Tennis Socials

The NPTA hosts Indoor Tennis Socials free to all members to play during the cold months. 

We also host Outdoor Socials in the spring to launch the new season back on our courts.

Fall-Winter Indoor Social

We have an Indoor Social in November or December each year, 7 - 10 pm,

It's usually held at the Strand Tennis Center (40 Watchung Ave, Chatham, NJ 07928).

Multiple courts are available for you to play with your friends and family. 

Everyone brings some food and/or beverages to share while watching the games through the windows to the courts.

We celebrate the end of the calendar year presenting trophies to the league and tournament champions.

During our Dec 2025 Social, we celebrated our support of Jonah Friedman, a local athlete from Summit, NJ who will be playing tennis in the Special Olympics.

The NPTA presented Jonah a check during our event at the Strand.

Winter Indoor Socials

The NPTA has been having Indoor Tennis Socials for over 10 years.

In February or March, we have our 2nd Indoor Social to launch the upcoming membership year.

Bring food and/or beverages to share while watching the play through the windows to the courts.
